Application form image FAQ

What size do I need for my specific application?

Check your application portal's guidelines. Common sizes: job portals use 20-100KB, universities ask for 50-200KB, and government portals often require 100-200KB. When in doubt, try 100KB — it works for most scenarios.

What if my image gets rejected anyway?

Some portals check pixel dimensions too, not just file size. Try reducing Max width to 1200-1400px along with your target KB. Also ensure your image is in JPG format unless PNG is specifically required.

Is this tool safe for confidential documents?

Absolutely. All processing happens in your browser using JavaScript. Your image is never uploaded to any server. This makes it safe for ID documents, certificates, and any sensitive materials.
